A Note from DreamStar

The bluster of the every day distracts us from finding beauty.  We are victims of rush hour traffic and coffees to-go.  Allowing one thought, one breath, one sight, one word to escape this bluster seems impossible.  Maybe there’s no obvious beauty in going to work, going to class, driving in the car to here and there, writing papers, reading books you have to read, picking up the kids, dealing with difficult people, keeping your friends happy, keeping everybody happy, going to the market, buying clothes to be pretty, buying tickets to go here and there, going to bed, waking up.  But if we can’t find meaning in our travel mugs, syllabi, and here’s and there’s – where will we find it?
